Fire Razes Down Houses In Fuata Nyayo Estate

More than 50 families have been rendered homeless following a fire that swept through homes in Fuata Nyayo area of South B, Nairobi.
Residents suspect the fire was caused by a man who was drunk and allegedly lit a cigarette while in bed.

Some residents sustained injuries while trying to save their belongings, but their efforts were overwhelmed by the intensity of the flames.
Nairobi County disaster and emergency response officers arrived at the scene, although the fire had already spread extensively.
The affected residents have appealed to the government for assistance.
