"False and Misleading": EACC Dismisses Claims of Raiding Wetangula’s Home

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has come out to repel online claims that its officers on Thursday raided the residence of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetangula.

Taking to its official social media accounts, EACC dismissed the allegations, terming them ‘false and misleading’.

The commission cautioned the public against the spread of misinformation, urging them to rely on its official communication channels.

“The attention of the EACC has been drawn to misleading social media posts alleging that EACC officers raided the residence of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetangula,” stated EACC.

“EACC wishes to clarify that these reports are false and misleading. The public is urged to rely only on official EACC communication channels for accurate information.”
