Deep Prayer & Dream Beatrice Elachi Had Before Son's Death as She Buries Him

27-year-old Elvis Murakana Namenya, the late son to Dagoretti North Mp Beatrice Elachi was laid to rest in Kajiado Saturday March 29, 2025.

"I thank God for giving me this son, he was a boy who never got sick, so this was his first time in hospital, and his last."

She also referred to the rainy weather as a blessing on his burial day.

Elachi reminded Gen Z about her message to them on Friday March 28 during his funeral service.

"I want to remind them about my comments yesterday, I said its fine, but the best you can do to your parents is to just tell then that when you are going somewhere to sort out this matter so that they can know how to help.

So im begging you for the sake of Elvis, tell your parents, so that that anxiety a parent might carry, she or he will be relived knowing where you have gone. I said yesterday it is important to pray in the morning, pray for yourself, and tell God I am now walking out of this door, grant me favor. When you come back thank him." she appealed.

"Life today is so different is not the way we were raised by our parents; it is different, and we need to pray for you. Elvis here was a very interesting man, he was an introvert, loved football, but one thing I know he loved his friends, with challenges loved to help his friends, like school fees, he would come to me."

She detailed the frantic efforts they made to try and save his life.

She expressed gratitude to her female politicians who have stood by her since her late son's hospitalization following an accident.

Addressing mourners, Elachi heaped praise on them for comforting her during the difficult time, up to his death including planning his last rites.

"So for me, I want to thank God for the life he gave Elvis, the most painful process in this process is when you walk into a hospital and you are told your son is going through surgery for six hours, and you walk into that room and told he is in an induced comma.

We had hopes with so many, we walked in there, we prayed like something, and we told God no he has to come back. So, on Saturday when father came to look at Elvis, I went home, that night I was so troubled, and I could not sleep. I prayed from 3-6am nonstop, and I knew Elvis is gone."

She struggled to cope with the grief brought by his sudden passing.

"From that time, I told my God now that you have given me this burden you have to carry us."
