Brighter Monday scoops best e-recruitment, HR platform

Brighter Monday, a Kenyan recruitment and human resources services platform has been recognized as the best e-recruitment and HR platform during the 7th Pacesetters Internal Awards.

The company attributed the success to the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence the Applicant Tracking system and advanced algorithms in their website which have played a key role in facilitating seamless connections between Job seekers and employers and explicitly aligning candidates’ skills and qualifications with employers’ specific needs.

“We understand that hiring Managers and recruiters need to prioritize quality over quantity when attracting Applications for their Job vacancies. Our Relevance Ranking, which uses an in-built matching feature to match applicants according to their relevance, has turned out to be magical, to see the best qualified on top of the list,” said Eva James, recruitment Solutions Manager.

According to the Kenya Bureau of Statistics, over 2.97 Million Kenya consisting of mainly youths aged 20- 24 are unemployed.

According to statistics, the country’s population of youth has skyrocketed in the past decade. Between 2009 and 2019, the youth population in Kenya increased from 11,089,518 to 13,177,600. This number is projected to increase by over 6 million by 2035.

According to a state of the Kenya population released by the National Council for Population Development (NCPD), the state has experienced an economic expansion of 5% in the last decade; however, this has not been enough to address youth unemployment and poor quality jobs in the informal sector.

Brighter Monday has cemented that it is solid in empowering job seekers and employers nationwide through its website and further enhancing career growth and workforce development through partnership projects.
