Babu Owino and Calvin Gaucho arrested hours before anti-government protests begin
Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino and Azimio die hard supporter Calvin Gaucho have been arrested.
Babu Owino was arrested after landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) from Mombasa.
The MP is currently in police custody although the circumstances surrounding his arrest are still not clear.
Gaucho on the other hand was apprehended by police in Nairobi after a viral video that has since speed widely was posted on social media.
Gaucho and other counterparts are seen slaughtering a goat and drinking blood to signify their readiness for today's maandamano.
The two were arrested just hours before the three days anti-government protests begin.
