In a candid and moving interview on The Dr. Ofweneke Show, businesswoman Sarah Mtalii opened up about her recent divorce from businessman Simon Kabu.

The heartfelt discussion provided viewers with an intimate glimpse into the challenges, growth, and lessons she has encountered while building a family and a thriving business empire, Bonfire Ventures.

Sarah spoke openly about the circumstances leading to their separation, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness, resilience, and mental health. "It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but it was necessary for my well-being and that of my family," she shared.

In a cryptic yet revealing admission, Sarah alleged underlying infidelity, toxicity, and narcissism in their union. 

"There were days I had to either sleep in a different room or share one with my daughter," she revealed. She confessed that their relationship prioritized business ventures over emotional connection, which ultimately eroded their intimacy. "Every time it was about business—whether traveling or posting on social media. It was not real. We are social beings, but in doing business, there's no time for laughing or listening to each other's hearts," she said. 

In a stunning revelation, Sarah points out that despite the numerous passwords, she once managed to gain access to his phone and what she found nailed the last nail into the coffin.

"I know a phone holds personal information but the day I gained access I almost collapsed seeing the numerous nudes from his female acquaintances,' she alleges. 'That was it for me. I knew I was out.' She even threatened to share them on social media if need be. 'I have all those inappropriate photos from ladies in my position and I can do as I please'. “After bumping into the nudes on his phone, I was out. I'm now looking for a tall, dark and handsome man, money won't be a factor” she added.

Reflecting on their luxurious trips to destinations like the Maldives and Santorini, she described the emotional distance between them. "Watching cuddling couples on those lovers' islands made us realize how distant we had become. We even slept on different ends of the bed since we couldn't secure different rooms and had to share one," she disclosed.

Sarah also acknowledged her role in the marriage’s struggles, admitting, "I loved blindly. We built our love from a business apex with very little or no time to socialize and appreciate each other."

The couple, whose union spanned several years and bore two children, saw their relationship quietly unravel in early 2022. Despite the breakdown, they maintained a united front on social media to protect their business interests. "We tried everything, even hiring the best marriage counselors and psychologists, but nothing changed. In fact, most of them dropped their services, saying we were irredeemable," she revealed.

In a surprising revelation, Sarah alleged that her ex-husband had children with other women. "Do you know he actually has four different baby mamas?" she posed.
