Four people have been confirmed dead in a Saturday morning Toi market inferno incident that left traders counting huge losses.
The fire which began at around 4am razed all the business structures, rendering the famous Kibera market empty.
It is unclear how the four victims found themselves at the centre of incident, but reports indicate that they had gone to rescue their properties which were being consumed by the deadly fire.
Woodley area chief Nehemiah Amwocha said the fire could have emanated from one of the kiosks before spreading fast to other structures.
The locals and traders are currently combing the debris and rubble in their effort to salvage the properties.
