16 pupils killed after a fire incident at Hillside Endarasha Academy in Nyeri county
At least 16 pupils are reported dead following a fire outbreak in one of the dormitories at Hillside Endarasha Academy in Nyeri County.
Sources indicate that the students were burnt beyond recognition.
Fourteen other pupils have been rushed to hospital with serious burns.
Senior police officials are en route to the school.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
