10 dead after a deadly accident involving a tanker and 2 matatus
At least 10 people have been confirmed dead and several others injured following a grisly accident at the Iguhu River Yala bridge along the Kisumu - Kakamega road.
The accident occurred after a tanker travelling towards Kakamega lost control and hit two matatus heading towards Chavakali.
Those injured have since been taken to nearby hospitals including Mbale and Kakamega Referral Hospital with reports indicating that the majority are in critical condition.
