Over 100 CEOs and managing directors gathered at Capital Club East Africa for a high-level roundtable led by SeamlessHR and the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) to explore how digital HR tools can unlock workforce productivity amid economic uncertainty.
Themed “Unleashing Growth Amid Continued Economic Uncertainty: Strategies for Competitive Advantage”, the roundtable emphasized the urgent need to embed technology into human capital strategies to boost efficiency and maintain Kenya’s economic competitiveness.
KEPSA Chairperson Jaswinder Bedi set the tone, urging businesses to leverage technology for inclusive, agile operations: “We must rethink how we attract and manage talent to maintain regional leadership and drive national productivity,” he said.
Dr. Vimal Shah, Chairman of Bidco Group, highlighted automation and AI as essential to future resilience: “Mundane tasks can now be digitized, making teams more agile and focused on strategic growth.”
Echoing this, TRIFIC SEZ CEO Brenda Mbathi underscored the importance of future-proofing: “Our edge will come from how well we optimize our human capital to meet global demands.”
