A man was on Monday arraigned for possessing an imitation firearm and ammunition.
Appearing before the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi, Kojo Odera was charged with having ammunition without a firearm certificate, possession of an imitation firearm, and obtaining money by false pretence.
Odera pleaded not guilty to all the counts before Senior Principal Magistrate R.K. Ondieki.
He was released on a cash bail of Ksh.100,000 or a bond of Ksh.200,000 with a surety of the same amount.
The prosecution, represented by Evelyn Mutisya, did not oppose his release on bail.
The case is set for mention on June 3.
