Liverpool stun Crystal Palace in a last minute showdown

Liverpool have gone top of the Premier League table following another 2-1 dramatic late show to see off Crystal Palace.
The Reds will sit at the summit at least until former leaders Arsenal play third-place Aston Villa later on Saturday evening, having come from behind to register another chaotic win at Selhurst Park.
The Reds fell behind just shy of the hour mark in the lunchtime kick-off when a penalty was awarded following a VAR check for young Jarell Quansah's kick on half-time substitute Jean-Philippe Mateta, who dusted himself down to send the returning Alisson Becker the wrong way from the spot.
That came after Palace had seen a first-half penalty award from referee Andy Madley overturned after a lengthy VAR review, Virgil van Dijk's trip on Odsonne Edouard in the box negated by what was eventually deemed a foul from Will Hughes on Wataru Endo
