Kalonzo Musyoka forced to stop his speech after goons intercepted the Azimio parliamentary group meeting

Wiper leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, was forced to cut short his speech on Wednesday evening after goons intercepted the Azimio meeting.

In videos seen circulating in social media, the goons walked into the meeting as soon as Kalonzo began reading a statement on behalf of Raila Odinga.

The Azimio kingpin had been forced to leave a few minutes before the chaos began to attend another meeting.

During the Parliamentary Group Meeting which was held at the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation, the goons charged in ordering everyone to leave.

The goons could be heard chanting that the meeting was over and ordering everyone out, including media members.

“Our meeting is over, everyone should leave! People from the media get out now!” the goons chanted.

The attendees were seen scampering for safety as the goons continued to rain mayhem disrupting the speeches.

The leaders on the podium including Kalonzo, were forced to remain silent, with the declarations made by the parliamentary group remaining undisclosed.

However the Azimio Camp is yet to issue a statement on the disruption of the meeting at the time of the publication of this article.

The events of the afternoon transpired moments after the Azimio leader Raila Odinga dismissed allegations of supporting President William Ruto’s call for a multi-sectoral forum as the solution to the recent unrest in Kenya.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader on Wednesday accused a section of the media of misquoting him.

Raila maintained that he had called for a national convention where all Kenyans could air their views and not a dialogue with the President.

“What we are calling for is a National Convention where all Kenyans will be brought on board to air their views. It is a fact everyone is annoyed with Kenya Kwanza," he added
