The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has suspended the gubernatorial elections in Mombasa county and Kakamega county over wrong pictures and names of the candidates printed on the ballot papers.
They have also suspended the Member of parliament (MP) elections in Kachiliba and Pokot South constituencies as the ballot papers have wrong details. Elections for the affected positions will therefore be suspended to a later date to be announced through a gazette notice.
However in Marsabit, KIEMS kits for Orane Primary School Polling station have been stolen. The kits were reported missing during the charging time before deployment. Due to this Chebukati stated that the kit has therefore been blacklisted and replaced.
"Any activity or data that may originate from the missing kit will be flagged and isolated from the system. It will not be useful to anyone," he said.

It's a disappointment for the areas affected.
for sure
Chebukati's decision of blacklisting the kits and replacing the kits was a good solution but a disappointment to the voters.
