Equity bank appoints Moses Okoth Nyabanda as the Acting Managing Director

Equity Group has appointed Moses Okoth Nyabanda as the Acting Managing Director for Equity Bank Kenya.
This follows Geral Warui’s exit whose request for early retirement has been accepted.
Warui leaves the bank after having served in various roles including operations, customer service and HR.
Nyabanda has been serving as the Group’s Chief Finance and Strategy Execution Officer.
Prior to joining equity group, Nyabanda was the Managing Director and country senior partner for pricewaterhousecoopers (pwc) in Rwanda and a member of PWC eastern Africa leadership team.
According to equity bank, Nyabanda has a proven track record of leading effective teams, strategic planning, driving business growth and delivering impactful solutions to businesses and governments in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, and the united kingdom. Confirmation of his appointment is subject to Central Bank of Kenya Approval
