Bungoma deputy governor Ngome Kibanani has quit the UDA party and joined DAP-K
The deputy governor quit the DP William Ruto-led party on Wednesday.
He was received to DAP-K by party leader MP Wafula Wamunyinyi and other officials.
Kibanani had decamped from Ford-Kenya to UDA in November last year but now wants to contest for the Bungoma senatorial seat on the Wamunyinyi-led party
Ngome blamed Bungoma senator and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang'ula for the underdevelopment in the region saying it was high time he is voted out.
Before leaving the Ford Kenya party, Kibanani said he will destroy Ford Kenya and leave Wetang'ula with nothing.
Ford Kenya teamed up with Ruto's UDA and Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC under the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
