The "Change Your Story" campaign, which will run up to December 31, 2024, will provide a lucrative opportunity for Kenyans who actively transact through banking solutions to earn weekly draws.
Other prizes include fuel vouchers, fine dining and paid holiday trips to the Maasai Mara, Ol Pejeta, Amboseli National Park and Nairobi National Park.
It will also feature a monthly grand prize draw whereby three individuals will stand a chance to win Ksh.1 million each.
Absa Bank Kenya Consumer Banking Director Moses Muthui praised the initiative saying that it seeks to promote digital banking among Kenyans.
“The “Change Your Story” campaign is aligned with our brand promise and goes beyond rewarding our customers. It seeks to bridge the gap in digital banking among Kenyans, promoting a shift from cash-heavy transactions to secure, convenient, and user-friendly digital and card transactions," he said.
“This initiative is one of many steps we are taking to support our customers' stories by building a more inclusive financial ecosystem, where every transaction has the potential to transform lives."
"Through this, we are rewarding those who engage with us while simultaneously raising awareness of the benefits of card usage for both customers and non-customers," he added.
How to participate
All participants are required to sign up for an ABSA card and other digital channels and use them frequently for their daily transactions.
To participate in the draw, open a new Absa account and get a debit card or get a new Absa credit card (for new customers).
Once you have this, additional transactions can earn you extra entries to the draw, these are:
- Spend a minimum of Ksh.1,000 on your debit or credit card at any point of sale or online.
- Deposit Ksh.10,000 weekly into your current or savings account.
- Conduct 5 transactions weekly on the Absa Kenya App, Internet Banking or *224#.
