Veteran TV show host Talia Oyando is a very grateful person after surviving a near-death experience just a day before her birthday. 

Talia, popularly referred to as the night nurse narrated how she nearly lost her life as she thanked God for being gracious enough to let her see another day, unharmed.

Recounting the freak accident the media personality started by lauding her son with praises highlighting the young boy always asks her to pray before they embark on their day-to-day activities. 

“'Mama let’s pray' he says before we get to school…Guide us and protect us throughout this day in Jesus' name we pray Amen. That’s how my son and I finish our morning prayers," Talia candidly shared before getting into details of what had transpired.

According to the night nurse, she almost got struck by a huge tree that fell just 12 feet from where she was. 

Talia notes her not getting squashed by the tree was nothing short of a miracle. As fate would have it, she was on her usual morning run albeit on a different route (she chose a shorter one on that day) when a tree fell 12 feet before her nearly striking her.

What is unmistakably memorable to her is the fact that a motorbike delayed her crossing and that is what saved her life.  

"Today, a day before my birthday, on my morning walk a tree fell 12 feet in front of me. I’m still shaken. I stopped to cross the road and delayed crossing because of a boda boda.

I don’t take that route I was on my usual route and turned back to use this one because it’s shorter and I have errands. Those cars in front of that tree also ponied (luckily survived). That boda boda guy carrying a passenger swerved right on time," the night nurse shared.
