Singer Chris Kaiga and businesswoman Joanna Kinuthia went public with their relationship in 2022. The two broke up this year with Joanna confirming the split on her social media.

“The truth is we are not together anymore, I’m a single girl and it has been like over a month now and I’m okay and I don’t know what else to say about that situation,” 

Speaking on 'Every Other Time With Eric' podcast, Kaiga revealed that he is still in love with Ms Kinuthia.

"It was real, it was genuine, I still love her, at least we are in talking terms," he said

He said he grew because of the relationship "Any genuine relationship has to make you grow because no one is perfect. It makes you more aware of your flaws, traits, dos and donts."

He said the relationship was so genuine that it made him reflect on his life "Like why do I do what I do? You just assume you do them but you don't know why you do them.And then there are some things you say you will never do but you end up doing."
