Veteran socialite and former reality TV star turned beauty and skincare mogul, Huddah Monroe, recently called out married women who urge other women to settle only for wealthy men, calling them hypocritical.

She argued that these women often don't have the so-called wealthy men they promote.

Huddah also stressed the importance of marrying someone you genuinely like rather than succumbing to societal expectations. Her only caution is, "don't fall for a lazy man!" as she believes "lazy men are crazy men."

Posting on her Instagram stories, the former Big Brother cast member wrote, "A lot of online married women who tell you to marry rich men are married to broke men. That math always fails to math."

Reflecting on this, Miss Monroe added, "Moral of the story 1) don't listen to people who are not where you want to go and 2) marry who the hell you want! As long as he is not lazy. A lazy man is a crazy man, and his mind is the devil's workshop... Follow for more relationship advice," with a laughing emoji.

In a separate post, Huddah argued that marriages have always been, and still are, business transactions. She shared a reel with the text, "whoever invented marriage was creepy as hell. Like I love you so much I'm gonna get the government involved so you can't leave."

Offering her thoughts on the subject, she wrote, "Marriage was initially a business... still is. You were sold off to a richer family or if your father owed someone, as a promise they would say I will give you my daughter to marry your son."

Concluding her post, the beauty mogul stated, "It is always women used for trading purposes. Gross," and added, "Some families wanted more daughters as it brought them wealth or what is dowry?"
