Hot off the heels of a messy breakup confirmation, an old contrasting video of former YouTube sensation couple Mungai Eve and Director Trevor has emerged.

As previously reported, Trevor confirmed his split from Eve on Monday, February 19, 2024, by announcing a takeover of their various social media platforms including her YouTube channel boasting over 700K subscribers.

The director would later bullishly say that Mungai's services were no longer needed and while this transpired, Eve Mungai remained unbothered in her solo trip to Zanzibar.

In the newly emerged video, the couple were being interviewed by Presenter Ali who enquired about the fate of their YouTube channel in case of a fallout.

The director explained that although he opened the channel, he would allow Eve to keep it and confidently stated that he believed he would pull a similar audience with a new channel.

"Mimi ndio nilicreate(the YouTube channel) lakini ni yake Maybe kukiwa na issue, ningependa ikue yake maana jina ni lake na brand in yake. Naeza anza channel na ikue freshi kabisa. Mimi najua tu password, mabo ya help na mengineo siyajui," Trevor affirmed.

Loosely translated as:"(Although I created the Youtube channel it belongs to Mungai Eve. In case of anything, I would still want her to retain the channel since it's her name and her brand. I don't even know much about the channel except the password.)"

Mungai Eve is yet to respond to the new move by her ex-lover.

The lovers spurred breakup chatter in January 2024 after deleting photos of each other from their Instagram accounts.

At the time, they also addressed the issue of having a baby with Trevor expressing his interest in adopting a child in 2024.
