TikToker Baba Talisha has revealed his daughter lost the use of one of her eyes. Through a TikTok video, the father of one shared how heartbroken he was upon learning the news.
His daughter has been undergoing therapy since the accident that occurred in August 2020 as her brain was injured.
"Today, I am so heartbroken. I just found out that my daughter could only see me with one eye. One of her brain nerves for sight was tampered with. I just did not expect that… It’s painful walking with her, knowing my little girl…I will always live with regrets of why... Why did we even leave home in the first place,” he shared.
In August 2020, Baba Talisha who was by then a 4th-year student left the house to go do a photo shoot for a client.
At about 11 am he was back in their house at Githurai. His late wife Malka was busy dressing up their baby. He too needed to look good and within no time they were off for the plan of the day.
After coming back home Baba Talisha and his wife alongside their daughter Talisha went for their planned family shoot. The photoshoot lasted about 5 hours.
After their photoshoot, Baba Talisha and his family decided to go to a client on Juja Road only for their journey to be cut short by an accident.
Along Thika Road, Baba Talisha who was driving the car bumped into stationary vehicles and everything went silent.
After hours of being trapped in the wreckage, good samaritans helped take his daughter to a hospital, four hours later. Mukami who was at the time aged 22-year-old was confirmed dead.
Talisha on the other hand was put on emergency treatment and soon after referred to KNH hospital for specialised management.
Talisha was transferred to KNH Hospital where she was immediately put on life support at the Paediatric ICU (PICU) for more than 20 days. By the grace of God, she has recovered from the coma.
