Abel Mutua Survives Attack By Knife Wielding Thugs Who Stole His iPhone 16

Celebrated Kenyan actor and filmmaker Abel Mutua is counting his blessings after surviving a harrowing robbery in Kahawa West on Monday night.

In a candid social media post, the celebrated storyteller revealed that he was ambushed by a group of thugs who made away with his iPhone 16 Pro Max and Bose headphones. Despite the terrifying encounter, Mutua said he was grateful to have escaped with his life.

“Wueh! Sema kimeumana! The young men at Kahawa West walinikaribisha jiji jana. iPhone 16 Pro Max gone, Bose Headphones gone as well. But cha muhimu ni despite the massive knives they were carrying, walinibakishia uhai,” he wrote.

The comedian, known for his witty and lighthearted personality, added with dark humor that the attack happened just across from the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH) Morgue, a chilling coincidence that underscored how close he came to danger.
