Esther Musila, wife of popular gospel artist Guardian Angel, has once again confidently addressed the persistent public backlash against their marriage.
The 54-year-old media personality has continually faced criticism since going public with her relationship in 2020.

Most commentary focuses on the significant twenty-year age gap between her and 34-year-old Guardian Angel.
Despite the couple repeatedly expressing their happiness and love, the negative public scrutiny continues to make headlines.
In a recent interview, Musila took a firm and graceful stance against the relentless online trolls and critics.
Addressing the Age Difference
Musila used humour and confidence to shut down those questioning her age and attractiveness.
She challenged her detractors directly, suggesting their motivation stemmed from insecurity.
She spoke about her appeal, quipping, “I may be older, but I’m still a fine girl.” She then issued a powerful retort aimed at women who judge their union, saying they should “ask themselves—if they were younger and more beautiful, why didn’t he choose them?” This statement quickly became a defining response to the controversy.
Dismissing Infidelity Rumors
Musila's remarks also came amid new, baseless rumours claiming that Guardian Angel had fathered a child with another woman and was allegedly involved in an extramarital affair.

She was quick to dismiss the speculation entirely, labeling it as malicious gossip intended solely to undermine her marriage.
She emphasized that their relationship is built on a private understanding, stating, “We are not here to live for people’s expectations. My husband and I know what we share, and that's all that matters.”
The Cost of Public Love
The philanthropist also revealed the personal cost of her highly publicized marriage, admitting that she has lost friends due to the constant public scrutiny. However, this struggle has only strengthened her resolve.
She has developed a necessary "thick skin" and no longer holds back when responding to disrespectful comments online.

“I won’t just sit and take insults. Sometimes I hit back because people forget we are human too.” Musila also touched on the societal pressure to have children.
She maintained that while children are a blessing, their absence does not define or weaken the foundation of their love.
“Our relationship doesn’t hinge on that,” she confirmed. Despite the ongoing criticism, the couple remains visibly united, often celebrating their bond through music collaborations and heartfelt social media posts.
Musila closed her latest message with a direct plea to critics: “Mind your own life. Fix your finances, your marriage, your health—leave mine alone.”
