Kenyan actress Dorea Chege has publicly declared her unwavering support for her fiancé, DJ Dibul, despite a storm of infidelity allegations swirling around the popular Kikuyu music spinner.
DJ Dibul has been accused of cheating on Dorea with several women — reportedly in his car and in rented Airbnb apartments — while she was pregnant.
The scandal broke just weeks after the couple welcomed their first child, with a number of women stepping forward to claim they’d had affairs with the DJ behind Dorea’s back.
Initially, Dorea was visibly upset by the accusations but refused to comment, stating, “I’m not the one who cheated, so I have nothing to say.” However, her stance appears to have shifted.
Speaking recently on their joint YouTube channel, the Maria actress made her feelings clear: “There is nobody in this world who will ever come between us. It’s us against the world until the wheels fall off.”
Dorea also addressed one of the alleged side chicks, accusing her of fabricating the affair and being “obsessed” with DJ Dibul.
Despite the scandal, Dorea continues to show her love and loyalty publicly, standing by her partner in the face of online backlash.
The couple, known for openly sharing their relationship on social media with their over half a million followers, have built a strong bond both on and off-screen.
Dorea admits that dating a fellow entertainer isn’t easy, and they’ve had to establish firm boundaries to keep their relationship intact.
“He’s a DJ and I’m an actress. That means we’re constantly around people of the opposite sex. So, we agreed not to touch each other’s phones, and we trust each other within our creative spaces,” she explained.

She added that making their relationship public has only intensified the scrutiny. “With fame, you lose the freedom to just be yourself. Society expects you to be someone you’re not. We can’t even do normal things other couples do, like board a matatu — I haven’t used one in ten years,” she said.
