UK-based Kenyan content creator Shiru Stuart, who was part of the late gospel singer Betty Bayo’s inner circle, has returned to the UK after spending a week in Kenya attending the singer’s burial.

Shiru arrived in the UK on the evening of Saturday, November 29, 2025, accompanied by her children, whom she had brought to Kenya for the occasion.

Interestingly, Shiru returned clad in a hoodie emblazoned with Betty Bayo’s name and other details of her songs, prompting her fans to flood her social media with warm and supportive messages.

In a video she shared on TikTok on Sunday, November 30, 2025, Shiru is seen at a UK airport preparing to collect her luggage when she turns to reveal the inscriptions on her white hoodie.

The details included Betty’s name written in red at the bottom of the hoodie, while an additional message, ‘Forever in Our Hearts,’ was printed above it, encircled in a heart shape.

While at the airport, Shiru also took time to update her fans on the well-being of Betty’s children, Sky and Dany, who she had left back in Kenya.

She explained that many people had been concerned about whether the children would feel lonely now that her own children were no longer there, given that they are close friends.

Shiru reassured her fans that, despite returning to the UK, she and her children maintain constant communication with Betty’s kids. She expressed gratitude for the outpouring of concern, emphasising that the children are safe and doing well.

“We love you all and thank you so much for the support. Our children are back home, they are safe, and we speak to them every hour, every moment. They are keeping well,” Shiru said in the video.

At the same time, Shiru took a moment to personally thank her fans for their unwavering support since the passing of the revered ‘11th Hour’ hitmaker, who was not only her close friend but also a central figure in her life.

“Hello, my people, this is for those asking if we arrived safely. Yes, we have arrived in the UK safely, and we are now collecting our bags at the airport. Thank you so much for your love. We already miss you all. Right now, we are at home, resting,” Shiru added.
