Public Service Commission Announces 290 Vacancies at the Ministry of ICT, How to Apply

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 290 job opportunities within the Ministry of Information, Communication, and the Digital Economy.  

The advertised positions are for Information Communication Technology (ICT) Assistant III within the State Department for ICT and the Digital Economy.

Interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to submit their applications online through the Public Service Commission's platforms, including the official website at www.publicservice.go.ke or the jobs portal at www.psckjobs.go.ke. 

 

The deadline for applications is February 4, 2025, at 5 PM.

Applicants are advised to review the detailed job descriptions and requirements on the Commission's website before submission.

 

The PSC was established under Article 233(1) of the Constitution. It manages human resources in the Kenya Civil Service and Local Authorities.  

 

One of the key roles of the PSC is to establish and abolish offices in the public service.

The PSC also plays a crucial role in appointments and disciplinary control; it is responsible for appointing and confirming personnel in the public service, as well as exercising disciplinary control over them. 

Additionally, the PSC works to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the public service, striving to optimize the delivery of government services. 

Furthermore, it is involved in human resource development, focusing on the training and development of public service personnel to enhance their skills and performance.
