"Naomba Mnisaidie": Stevo Simple Boy Seeks Help for His Pregnant Wife to Find Job

Kenyan rapper Stephen Otieno Adera, widely known as Stevo Simple Boy, has sent an appeal to Kenyans to help his pregnant wife, Brenda, secure employment.

Speaking during a live interview with a local media station on Friday night, August 29, 2025, Stevo said Brenda has a college-level education and is willing to work wherever there is an opportunity.

“Brenda amesoma kama kuna kazi pale mpatieni Brenda afanye kazi,”Stevo appealed.

Echoing the rapper’s appeal, Brenda disclosed that she studied front office at Utalii College and trained as a receptionist.

“Nimesoma Utalii College front office, being a receptionist,” Brenda revealed.

Brenda’s Appeal

Additionally, Brenda said that the rapper has a new YouTube channel called Simple Boy Creatives and urged fans to follow, subscribe, like the videos, and leave comments.

She also encouraged them to continue following him on TikTok and Instagram and to book him for shows.

“Tulifungua YouTube channel yenyine inaitwa Simple Boy Creatives, mufollow huko, subscribe, like videos na pia munawache comments, pia mzidi kufollow Stevo TikTok, Instagram na pia mumuite shows,” Brenda asked Kenyans.

Pregnancy Journey

The rapper and Brenda have been in the spotlight recently after announcing they are expecting their first child, a baby boy.

During their gender reveal party, Brenda opened up about her pregnancy experience, describing the journey as particularly challenging during the first three months when fatigue was overwhelming and she needed space to adjust to the emotional and physical changes.

She revealed that she found it difficult to interact even with Stevo during this period, as pregnancy moods and discomfort made her irritable and withdrawn, and she preferred limited contact with many people around her.

“The pregnancy journey has been a bit difficult. During the first three months, I was extremely tired. However, when I reached four months, I began to feel better and started to eat properly. You know, even during the early days of pregnancy, I did not even want Stevo near me because of the feelings and moods that come with pregnancy.

It was not just him; many people, in general, were difficult to be around. But at least now I can interact with him and a few others because the moods have improved,” she revealed.

She added that Stevo has, however, been actively supporting her throughout the pregnancy, taking on household responsibilities such as cooking and washing dishes to help ease her burden.

“At that time, I actually disliked Stevo; he was not reacting as I expected, and he would get frustrated. Even so, he would come and wash dishes, cook while I was pregnant, and he really put in effort seeing that I was expecting.”
