In Islamic tradition, it is believed that the pilgrimage to Mecca purifies the soul and wipes away all past transgressions. This is why many Muslims choose to perform Umrah as a way to seek forgiveness and start anew.
That noble act earned he praise from her fans for her act of worship in Islam.
She seems to be enjoying the sense of peace and inner happiness brought on by that spiritual journey.
On her snapchat, Zari spoke about the power to heal and forgive.
"Praying for anyone going through the most. May Allah have mercy on you and make it easy on you. Inshallah"
The mother of five signaled she is starting on a clean slate.
"Alhamdulilahi for everything and let go of everything or anyone that is not meant to be"
Zari is known to use cryptic posts on her online platforms when she has been through traumatic moments.
In August, drama between her and Shakib unfolded, with revelations that he is uncomfortable with Diamond Platnumz visiting her house to see his children.
A back and forth saw the businesswoman eventually apologize for her outburst. She trv bleed to Uganda to mend fences on Sep 3, but since then the couple has not been seen together.
“Things happen. We are not perfect as people. After realizing our mistakes, we turn back. I indeed wronged Shakib. This was because of the frustration I was going through, though the platform I used to vent my issues was wrong,” Zari confessed.
Whether they are together and keeping things private remains to be seen.
