Notable Bongo Flava musicians from Tanzania, Zuchu (Zuhura Othman Soud) and Diamond Platnumz (Nassibu Abdul Juma) have been making headlines with their love story.

For years, people have speculated about and paid attention to their relationship.

Partnership and Rumors

Wasafi, the record label of Diamond Platnumz, signed Zuchu in 2020.

Years later, rumors about a possible romance between them intensified with the release of their two singles "Litawachoma" and "Cheche".

During an episode of "Young, Famous & African" in 2023, Zuchu expressed her frustration with Diamond's lack of commitment, leading to tension between the two.

Recently, Zuchu and Diamond have made their relationship status public as fans continue to analyze their social media posts and song lyrics for more hints, demonstrating the public's unwavering interest.

The two love birds have been appearing deeply in love as Zuchu shows to her fans when they spend quality time together having a pillow talk.

Just the other day, Zuchu took fans on a tour of Diamond's mansion. Later she shared a video asking him to sponsor her cosmetic surgery.

However, the two love birds have been in an on-and-off relationship. The Sukari hitmaker has reportedly dumped Diamond severally but they always end up together.

A few months ago, Diamond's mother denied any knowledge of Zuchu's relationship with Diamond. She mentioned that her son had not introduced Zuchu as his lover to her.

On the other hand, Zuchu's mother and Taarab singer Khadija Kopa also shared that she will only recognize Diamond as her son-in-law after a formal introduction.

She stated that Diamond has yet to ask Zuchu's hand in marriage and until he does that, then she does not recognize the relationship.

Diamond dated Kenyan musician Tanasha Donna before hooking up with Zuchu who is signed to his record label.

Platnumz also dated Zari Hassan, Wema Sepetu, Sarah Kwamwambie, Penny, Hamisa Mobetto and others.

On the other hand, Zuchu's past relationships are not known.
