TikToker Vincent Kaluma, popularly known as Kaluma Boy, has issued a detailed statement after his house was broken into while he was away for the Christmas holidays.
Speaking in a video shared on his TikTok page on Monday, December 29, 2025, Kaluma Boy explained that he had travelled upcountry for Christmas and only returned later in the evening.
Upon arriving home at around 9 pm, he discovered that his house had been broken into during his absence, turning what should have been a calm return into a distressing experience.
“It is a sad evening. I had travelled upcountry for Christmas, and I have just come back. It is now around 9pm, and I found that my house had been broken into. I do not know who was behind it, but valuable items were stolen,” Kaluma shared.

He stated that the thieves stole several valuable household items, including his clothes, blankets, shoes and other personal belongings.
According to him, the robbery was not selective, with almost everything of value in the house taken, leaving the space largely emptied and disorganised.
“I was robbed of clothes, blankets, shoes and many other items, which is very disrespectful. Even the kitchen was not spared,” he said.
He further revealed that the kitchen was also targeted, noting that cooking utensils and wares such as sufurias were stolen. He described this as particularly disturbing, as even basic household items were not spared.
“Cooking wares, including sufurias, were stolen. That is so bad, jameni,” he added.
Kaluma Boy raised serious concerns over how the robbery was carried out, pointing out that the front door padlock was missing.
He explained that he entered the house through the back door, only to realise that the thief had installed a different padlock on the front door, effectively locking him out.
This detail led him to believe that the person of interest may be someone who knows him personally and was aware of his movements.
“When you check my front door, there is no padlock. I entered the house using the back door and realised that the thief added his own padlock. This means it is someone who knows me very well. He knew I was upcountry,” he said.
He said the person appeared to know he had travelled upcountry and suggested that the thief may have planned to return for another round to steal more items.
He added that his original key could no longer open the door, deepening his distress and reinforcing his belief that the break-in was deliberate and well planned.
“It seems he wanted to come back for another round and steal more items. Even now, as you can see, my key is not working, and it is very sad,” he shared.
