Online delivery platform Glovo has announced plans to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its customer service operations, assuring users of data security under its updated privacy policy.
“We may use AI technology as part of our customer service processes. Rest assured, your data will always be protected,” Glovo stated.
The company emphasized that users will not be required to share personal identification documents or other sensitive data to verify their identity when using the platform.
Glovo also revealed plans to customize platform content and adjust certain fees to enhance customer experience.
“We may occasionally modify content and pricing based on various factors, all aimed at improving your experience,” the company noted.
Founded in 2015 in Barcelona, Glovo launched operations in Nairobi in 2019, offering on-demand delivery services across multiple categories. Users can order goods and have them delivered in under an hour.
Operating in over 20 countries and 100 cities, including Paris, Madrid, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Cairo, and Nairobi, Glovo processes around 3 million orders monthly with an average delivery time of 45 minutes.
