Kenyan media personality and TikTok sensation Azziad Nasenya has landed in the spotlight once again; this time over a viral voice note that allegedly captures her pleading for Sh85,000 from a friend to pay a hairdresser while in Nigeria.
In the circulating audio, a voice said to be Azziad’s can be heard desperately asking for help, citing delays in funds she expected earlier in the week.
“Aki mama, I’m begging. As we speak, I’m in Nigeria. Kuna pesa ilifaa nitumiwe on Monday na haijatumwa. Niko stranded, nafaa kulipa mtu wangu wa nywele huku Nigeria. I only need Sh85,000,” the voice says.
The influencer, known for her polished image and glamorous lifestyle, has previously faced similar accusations of borrowing money to fund her expenses.
In the same voice note, she allegedly acknowledges having an outstanding debt with the recipient but promises to pay back the new amount by Monday.

New Azziad voice recordings leak where she can be heard alleging she has unpaid bills worth 1.8 million shillings as she asks for 85,000 shillings to pay for her hair while in Nigeria. “..Tutakutana Tuesday, Friday nianze usherati..”
“Aki tafadhali, najua niko na deni yako but hii 85K nitakurudishia by Monday. Aki please, kila mtu najaribu kupigia anasema ni tricky. Naomba mama,” she pleads.
Despite these allegations, TNX Africa could not independently verify the validity of the said voice note.
However, this is not the first time the influencer has been called out for alleged financial woes.
Earlier this year, fellow content creators Mary Musyoka and Hannah Benta publicly accused her of failing to repay loans.
In one widely shared TikTok clip, Mary revealed a WhatsApp voice note—also alleged to be from Azziad—where she requested a hefty loan of Sh300,000 with a promise to repay it by Sunday or Monday.
“I’m in a fix and I’m stuck. There’s a whole story behind it, but I’ll tell you the details later. I need a large sum of money, but I promise you’ll have it back by Sunday or Monday latest. I’m stranded; it’s crazy,” the message said.
Eventually, Mary confirmed that the money had been repaid, celebrating the moment with a TikTok dance and the caption: “My money is back, guys. Kumbe kelele husaidia!”
At the time, fans speculated that a supporter may have stepped in to settle the debt.

However, during a TikTok Live, digital creator Hannah Benta clarified that she had personally contacted someone who paid the amount on Azziad’s behalf.
“Ata mimi nimelipwa. Mimi ndio unafaa uambie asanti juu nimeongelesha mtu akatulipa,” Hannah explained.
Now, with a new voice note surfacing, critics are once again questioning Azziad’s financial discipline. On X, users didn’t hold back:
“The universe has a way of balancing things. Huyu sasa fame, money, and more money—yet she wasted everything.”
“Si financial advisor ajitolee a save this babe. So unfortunate.”
Still, some fans are skeptical, speculating the voice note might be fabricated or AI-generated.
“Whose voice is that?” one user asked.
As of now, Azziad has not publicly addressed the latest controversy.
