The comedian spends over Sh130k every week to produce his content
Celebrated digital content creator, stand-up comedian, and budding entrepreneur Crazy Kennar, born Kennedy Odhiambo, just recently revealed he splurges Sh.130k almost weekly.
According to the 26-year-old the expenditure is a necessity as he now resides in two different countries.
Kennar mostly spends his weekdays in South Africa, where he is studying film and on the weekends he is at home, in Kenya, where he works on personal projects, shoots his hilarious skits, and manages production of his upcoming shows.
"During the week, I was in South Africa, and during the weekends, I am in Kenya. In South Africa, I am in school... A film school, where I am studying creative writing in one of the best film schools in Africa," the comedian shared during a recent interview he had with Oga Obinna.

He added that he is sometimes forced to travel over the most mundane things as food products in S.A are different from those in Kenya.
"Then I travel, you know I still have gigs that I'm doing and occasionally and there are productions that involve me. Let's say for example salt, you can't find Kensalt in S.A so inabidi unakuja home ndio uipate.
Or the product branding isn't the same... this calls for me to travel, come shoot then go back to school. So I balance in between the two."
The comedian is one of the biggest names in sketch comedy in Kenya
Touching on the expenses he incurs in pursuit of bettering his skills, the 26-year-old noted he understands the occasional travelling is quite expensive but in the same breathe it is a huge necessity which he feels in the long run will bear him fruits.
"The ticket is Sh.130,000. It might be expensive, but why am I doing it? I treat it as an investment—an investment of the mind," Kennar shared.
Funny enough, when the comedian first visited the country he had no intentions of making it his second home.
"I have a house there right now... it is like a store right now though because it has been a minute since I was there. You know, when I went to visit South Africa for the first time it was via 'Visit South Africa' they actually invited me to go visit.
And while I was there, I just thought 'why don't I study there?' And now, I am a student for the next three years," Kennar said.
