Kenyan content creator and model Stephanie Ngunjiri has spoken candidly about her relationship with fellow digital personality Kenyan Prince, emphasizing that her commitment is not driven by money but genuine affection.
During an interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, Ngunjiri addressed ongoing speculation about her relationship with the comedian, particularly following their recent reconciliation.
“I’m Not Here for the Money”
When asked about her intentions and whether she sees herself staying in the relationship, Stephanie responded firmly, saying:
“You know you never know what someone else is thinking. Of course I am here to stay. If I was here for the money, si ningekua nishachukua na nikamove on to another level. I am not here for the money.”
Her remarks appeared to be a direct response to online critics who have often questioned her motives, suggesting that her relationship with Kenyan Prince may have been financially motivated.
Ngunjiri, however, clarified that her commitment stems from love and personal conviction rather than material gain.
Public Reconciliation
The interview came just days after the couple publicly announced their reconciliation through a birthday message shared on social media. Stephanie posted a heartfelt note to Kenyan Prince that read:
“We revive!! We mess, we fall, but we rise and hold on!! As you grow an year older, I pray for God’s blessings 😍 I love you!! Early birthday wishes.”
The post signaled that the pair had mended their differences following a period of separation earlier in the year. Fans took the message as confirmation that the two had rekindled their relationship, with many expressing support for their renewed bond.
Navigating the Spotlight
In a recent appearance on Morin Actress’s podcast, Ngunjiri opened up about how her relationship with Kenyan Prince unexpectedly thrust her into the public eye.
“I don’t like being in the spotlight,” she admitted. “I cried a lot when I found out the picture was posted, but eventually, I accepted it.”
She explained that a viral photo of her with Prince changed everything, bringing sudden attention that she had not anticipated. Despite the overwhelming exposure, she said she eventually learned to cope with public scrutiny.
Ngunjiri revealed that she first met Kenyan Prince at the Arbantone Festival, where they began talking and forming a connection. Addressing rumours about Prince’s work, she defended him against speculation surrounding his business dealings.
“I’ve heard people say what he does is a scam, but I got to know him personally. The work he does is very legitimate,” she stated.
Despite their ups and downs, she emphasized that there was no bitterness between them.
“I’m not a bitter ex. We never clout-chased, and our breakup isn’t for clout,” she clarified.
From Love to Separation
Stephanie Ngunjiri and Kenyan Prince’s relationship dates back to August 2024, following Prince’s widely publicized breakup with content creator Princess Kerubo.

Their chemistry and frequent online appearances helped them gain popularity, leading to the launch of a joint YouTube channel where they shared snippets of their lives and relationship discussions.
Over time, however, uploads became inconsistent, and fans noticed fewer joint appearances. Speculation grew about a possible split, which Ngunjiri later confirmed in May 2025, writing on her Instagram stories:
“He was indeed a gentleman, but he was too petty! For the short time we had together, it was amazing. Sometimes situations just pass. Cheers to a new beginning.
Prince responded with a broken heart emoji, signaling mutual understanding.
