Digital creator Yvonne Mugure has said Kenyan women are now getting character development from both Kenyan and Nigerian men.

She described Nigerian men as top-level players who know how to charm women using both money and words.

“Kenyan women, if you have ever dated a Nigerian, you know their elite level of player. Like, they will sweet-talk you. Ten out of ten times, they have money. They are not afraid to spend,” Yvonne said on Instagram on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

According to her, Nigerian men are very intentional when pursuing women. “They will woo you until you are wooed with the money and words,” she added, explaining that their confidence and generosity make it easy for them to win hearts quickly.

Yvonne said that compared to Kenyan men, Nigerian men have mastered the art of romance and are not afraid to show it through actions and grand gestures. She believes that their approach to love and relationships has left many Kenyan women with both sweet and painful lessons about dating.

Yvonne pointed out that there are now many Nigerian men living in Kenya, especially in Nairobi, and that their presence has changed how women view dating.

“I do think there are a lot of Nigerian men in Kenya, so I think Kenyan women are getting the character development from Kenyan men and Nigerian men,” she said.

She added that Kenyan women have become smarter and more confident when dealing with men. “Props to y’all, I get it… If these dudes have been playing in your face for years, play back. Do whatever you gotta do, I don’t even blame you,” Yvonne stated.

Yvonne later added a message specifically to Nairobi women, encouraging them to live freely and make their own choices. “Kenyan, specifically Nairobi women, you better do your thing, respectfully. My intrusive thoughts are winning once again,” she wrote.

Her statement highlights how modern relationships are constantly changing and how women have become more aware of the games that come with dating. According to Yvonne, experiences with both Kenyan and Nigerian men have made many women more alert, emotionally strong, and less willing to tolerate manipulation.
