Woman vomits a dead rat in Nakuru county
Residents of Ndaragu village in Njoro, Nakuru County were shocked after a middle-aged sick woman vomited a dead rat.
In the Wednesday incident, the mother of four, who has been sick for over a week, said she started feeling uncomfortable at midnight and started vomiting.
She said at 3 am, she started feeling something like an object stuck in her throat and forced it out of her throat. After lighting her torch, she found the dead rat in the basin.
Speaking to the media at the woman’s home, locals led by her father and the village elder said someone had publicly differed with the woman and is suspected to be behind the incident.
Following the incident, the woman went back to bed and she was still asleep as locals thronged the village in the morning after her father broke the news to neighbours.
Elders are expected to meet and conduct a ritual in the wake of the incident.
