Since Brenda Jons turned a new leaf, she has been preaching the gospel. And according to her, she has  stopped being just a cute Christian and become more serious and more radical.

"Some days you might feel discouraged,weak and unable to pray or read the word or worship.And yes, these days are there as we walk with God. One thing I'm reminded is that even on those days,I should still rise up and keep trying,drag myself into His presence and just tell Him how my day was," she said

Adding, "Few days ago i decided I'll stop being a cute christian and become more serious and more radical. I said I'll preach the truth and even the truth that most don't want to hear. I was reminded I wasn't called to be cute and good but I was called to be the light of the world,the salt of the earth. "

She asked her fans what they were doing with their salvation "I don't know who this is for,but RISE UP CHILD OF GOD. I know you haven't prayed for a while,you haven't opened your Bible for so long,you keep making plans to pray but you miss them,God is still waiting for you to come back to that place of prayer,to that place only you and Him know,He's still waiting for you to hear Him,He's ready.He loves you and He cares for you. RISE UP CHILD OF GOD! COME BACK TO THE FIRST LOVE!" 

Before announcing that she had turned a new leaf, Jons had taken a few months off social media.
