Kenyan TikTok family, Baba and Mama Jimmy, are enjoying life in America. They are living on a 36-acre ranch in the state of Kentucky.

However, their journey to the U.S. was difficult. They began the visa application process three years ago, which took a toll on them due to constant requests for additional documents.

Speaking on his Wajumbe Records YouTube channel, Isiah, aka Baba Jimmy, shared that their family's visas were expiring in six hours, and they needed to leave Kenya immediately.

Their delay was due to their children not yet having received their visas. The couple turned to prayer, and fortunately, the two children received their visas just in time.

"We were ready with the flights, just waiting on the visas. Tukapanga tu vitu haraka haraka. Hata kuan matanga nilienda kuhubiria. Tulifika hiyo tarehe kumi na moja hio ndio ilikuwa mwisho, visa inge expire," Baba Jimmy said.

Mama Jimmy agreed about the short time they had before their visas expired: "Ilikuwa imebaki 6 hours inaenda ina expire," indicating how rushed their travel plans were.

"It was a real struggle. We started making calls to the embassy and even sent emails, but there was no response. I put a video on TikTok asking for prayers, but many people discouraged us from announcing our plans and advised us to keep it secret," Baba Jimmy added.
