Weezdom opens up about battling depression and alcohol addiction

Singer Weezdom has taken to social media to reveal to his fans that the reason behind his silence is because he was in a rehabilitation centre due to alcohol addiction.
The singer said he has been discharged from the rehab centre where he had been admitted for about four months.
Prior to that, Weezdom had previously been admitted at a city hospital before being transferred to the rehab facility.
He said he had undergone depression which later led to addiction.
"Dear Fam, Greetings To You All..Nashukuru God Niko Home Na Nimepona.Maze Haikuwa Rahisi Being Hospitalized Hizo Siku Mob Hivo but Kwa Nguvu Za Mwenyezi Mungu Nimetoboa." he shared about his journey.
He credited some close friends and thanked them for supporting him through to his recovery
"I Want to Thank My Family;Dad,Mum,My Sisters Regina & Stella,My Fiance @gitta_music My Brother @mzaziwillytuva Hon @jaguarkenya @guardianangelglobal & @sammyboy_kenya For Walking with me through the Journey Na Kunisupport kwa njia Zote Kuona Nimesaidika"
He also acknowledged the role his medical doctors played that led to his successful recovery.
"Nataka Pia Kushukuru My Doctors and Counsellors At Ladnan Hospital Pangani & Nobility House Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre Limuru For Everything May God Bless You."
when he first came online to reveal his dire condition, Weezdom had asked Kenyans to keep him in prayer
This is something he was also grateful in his newest message
"Shukran Nyingi Kwa MaFans Mmenisupport Sana Nawaombea Baraka Tele.Shukran Za Dhati to my Pastor @pastor_rhymes For Holding my Hand tirelessly Na Ndio maana Leo ni Ushuhuda kuwa God ameniponya,akanisamehe dhambi zangu na Akanirejesha Tena Kwake🙏 To God Be The Glory."
He said he will eventually give fans details of what exactly led him to alcohol addiction.
