Waihiga Mwaura and Joyce Omondi celebrate their 8th anniversary in style
BBC journalist Waihiga Mwaura and his wife Joyce Omondi are celebrating eight years since walking down the isle in December 2015.
The lovers who are currently on vacay in Asia looked stunning as ever as they cuddled up inside an unnamed hotel during a romantic dinner.
In a short clip, Joyce was treated to a pleasant surprise where a violinist first serenaded her before performing for the couple with a love song playing in the background.
She attached a sweet caption: "Happy Anniversary my love."
Over the years, the former colleagues have had great accomplishment including Waihiga securing his Master degree and the big shift to BBC and have also faced various hurdles including harsh scrutiny by online womb watchers.
Previously, Joyce Omondi was forced to address the rumours and possibly put to an end the enduring chatter.
