Vera Sidika amused her fans after her solo birthday staycation video garnered 1 million views, with 4,000 people saving it out of curiosity.

The socialite celebrated her 35th birthday on September 30th with a luxurious solo staycation at the JW Marriott. On October 1st, Vera shared a glimpse of her special day, explaining that she chose to celebrate by focusing on herself.

“Bday staycation, October 1st, 2024,” she captioned a video of herself enjoying breakfast.

A room tour revealed that Vera spared no expense in treating herself. She also indulged in a spa day, spending Ksh 21,000 on a massage and facial.

“I’ve never needed a crowd. I always celebrate myself! It’s worth so much more. Take time to reflect, pray, and practice self-love. People throw big parties for hundreds of fake friends and spend so much money on it... that will never be me,” Vera responded when asked why she celebrated alone.

According to the JW Marriott website, a one-night stay costs $349, approximately Ksh 45,108.

After cutting her birthday cake, Vera playfully declared, “Happy birthday to me! You are amazing, smart, rich... yes, happy birthday! This is thirty-fine, honey,” as she enjoyed her cake.

Prior to her solo celebration, Vera had been at the coast with her children, brothers, and parents to celebrate their birthdays.
