Two suspects arrested with 575 litres of ethanol

Two suspects are in police custody after they were found ferrying 575 litres of ethanol.
According to the National Police Service (NPS), the two were arrested in Nakuru County.
Police added that the two were identified as Isack Ochieng and Hedmond Ochieng.
Officers from Elementaita Police Station acting on a tip-off flagged down their motor vehicle.
“NPS officers from Elementaita Police Station impounded a motor vehicle registration number KDM 563R Nissan Note,” read a police statement in part.
Police thanked members of the public for volunteering information that led to the arrest of the suspects.
“The two are in police custody awaiting to appear before Nakuru CMS Court on December 28, 2023.” NPS wishes to thank members of public for sharing information that led to the success of this operation.
