Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage might have to cancel all her December performances.
The mother of one cried out on social media that she was sick and needed time off, showing medication prescribed by her doctor, she may have come down with Malaria.
The drugs namely the painkiller paracetamol and the anti-malaria drug Lonart Ds were what had her worried.
The singer said she has two pending shows but isn’t feeling well enough. On her Instagram page, Savage wrote, “God help me. I have two shows today, and I feel soo sick.”
In another post, the mother of one said she needs “tender, loving care” She wrote a message urging anyone who loves her to comfort her in a special way
“Who loves me enough to send me cheesecake ice cream? I need some tender, loving care.”
This is the second time this year she is suddenly canceling performances.
Tiwa Savage had in October postponed all her performances, saying she had been “instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months.”
She was to perform in London, but via a statement posted on her Instagram page, she said she was battling something heavy.
“To my dear Savage Soldiers, I’ve been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months.
I will unfortunately have to postpone all performances including my first ever headline arena show in London. I’m heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what’s left of my voice. I’m so sorry. I love you all and promise to be back performing once I’m fully healed.”
