Digital creator Faustine Lipuke popularly known as Baba Talisha has expressed concerns over how social media more specifically TikTok with overtime has changed.

In his recent post, The digital creator gives his opinion on the major issues that are making the TikTok platform toxic.

The father of one feels TikTokers will start engaging in activities that may demean the social media culture in the country.

"The whole day tiktok ilikuwa chai tu i came to realise that mahali tiktok imefika itakua too toxic untill itafuka mahali we start losing tiktokers because of vitu zinaendelea tiktok its very toxic tiktokers wataanza kuuana bure because of the things you do things you say live sijui baba Talisha amefanya nini..." he said. 

Since ever TikTok started gaining its acquitted purpose in the country, the platform was majorly for entertainment which most users were dancers and creating comedy skits.

Baba Talisha looked at how the platform was used in the past compared to now, noting that it has sadly turned into a space for online gossip, criticism, hate speech, and cyberbullying.

Concerning cyberbullying, the digital influencer believes that people who engage in such acts are always idle and they do such things for public impressions.

"TikTok is a very toxic platform si kama kitambo alafu hao wenye wanafanya izi vitu they have nothing to lose they don't have any brand they don't have anything they only thing they have is their life of which they don't even care about it but again there is another person that mwenye ako na something to lose maybe a job maybe a brand maybe company maybe friends and they really don't care" he added.

Baba T advises them to avoid such comments since it helps in gaining nothing.

"If you are a brand ambassador and you are on TikTok kindly avoid hizi mvurutano stop reacting to everything because we have people on that platform who just spread rumors and they are online bullies and whenever you respond they enjoy and credit"

In anger, TikToker advises users to stop clout chasing by spreading rumors and bring back the past culture by spreading peace and love.

"Kuna vitu zenye bado mtu anaweza sema na kuna mtu mahali ataamini and the person will really spread romours regardless,,,"

"Why dont we just live in peace? Tiktok we have many hypocrites some people are always ready to please others they are always everywhere to be seen "

In recent days, an X user, a Kenyan University student was arrested over the allegations of spreading false statements on the platform.

However, Kenyans get to enjoy the freedom of expression, as compared to its neighboring countries.

Just the other day, a Ugandan Gen Z was sentenced to two years in prison for criticizing their government.
