Tanzanian rapper Mr Blue has addressed his alleged beef with fellow TZ singer Diamond Platnumz. In an interview with Wasafi TV, the singer who has been in the industry since 1999 denied the allegation.

"I have never had beef with anyone. Diamond looked for me while he was still an underground artist and requested to do a song with me.

We did not release the song as the chorus was too long. We later met for his song 'Mbagala'.

How did they come up with the plan to work together on their new song?

"He came with a lot of love and put aside his bossiness. It was not immediate, we just started flowing until we became buddies.

In my heart I wanted to work with him, he also wanted to work with me but we did not know how to start.

We met again during Wasafi Festival, before then we had not seen each other for years."

Bluez has featured in Diamond Platnumz's latest song 'Mapoz'. The song which also features Jay Melody has garnered 1.9 million views just five days after its release.

Mr Blue has in the past collaborated with artists such as Ali Kiba., Bobby Mapesa, and Nandy among others.
