Tanzanian gospel artist Christina Shusho lauds Diamonds creativity after controversial casket entrance at the Wasafi festival

Tanzanian gospel musician Christina Shusho has expressed her thoughts on the Tanzanian music industry following the controversial coffin entrance performance by Diamond Platinumz.

Shusho while speaking to online media after touching down at the JKIA airport lauded the Tanzanian industry for being creative.

However, she noted that she did not follow up on Diamond's performance and declined to comment.

"I was a little bit busy so I haven't really followed up on that. However, Tanzanian artistes are very creative and I endorse and respect them so much.

"They are very creative so whatever they do, if it is creativity, I fully accept and acknowledge it," Christina Shusho said.

Reactions quickly ran amuck after singer Diamond held what seemed like a hell-themed performance at the Wasafi Festival in Lindi, Raungwa district.

The singer got on stage while being carried in a coffin. Several caskets were also carried to the stage with men dressed in hooded religious-like regalia as if performing some sort of satanic ritual.

In his response, the 'Yatapita' crooner admitted he was also scared to get in the coffin for the performance.

"Coming out from the coffin was an insane experience. I was scared as f*ck in there! ?☠️??," Diamond wrote.
