Tanzanian young pop star Abigail Chams took a bold step to address the swirling rumors about her personal life.

This she did by openly stating that she is single.

To put an end to the ongoing speculation regarding her dating life, Abigail on her Instagram page sent a clear message, asserting her single status.

"I am SINGLE! anyone saying otherwise is LYING," she wrote

In her post, she used Harmonize's hit "I’m Single" to clearly express and support her message that she is not in any relationship and is very much single

In the media industry where conformity to societal expectations is common, Abigail firmly maintains her values and standards by proudly embracing her single status.

She has always proved to be different contrary to what people would expect from her.

This was also evident when her interview went viral, where she humorously admitted that she doesn’t know how to cook ugali, mistakenly including salt as an ingredient for ugali in her recipe, which sparked lively discussions among netizens. 

Abigail is also recognized for being the founder of Teen Talks With Abby Chams. A mental health platform was founded to help the youths in Tanzania to discuss and solve issues they face as teenagers .

In 2020 she was appointed as the UNICEF Advocate in Tanzania for Mental Health and Gender Based Violence.

She is clearly setting a great example for his foundation and as a youth advocate that she is.
