The primary suspect in the Shiners Boys High School murder has been apprehended.
The student, a Sudanese national, was reportedly lured back to the school after he travelled overnight to Nairobi shortly after allegedly stabbing a classmate in Nakuru County.
Gilgil Sub-County Commander Winstone Mwakio stated that upon his return to school, Dak was found with several rolls of bhang in his jacket pocket.
According to Mwakio, the school principal played a crucial role in Dak's return, contacting him in Nairobi and persuading him to come back to Shinners Boys.
Prior to this incident, Dak had been a student at Woodley Secondary in Kibra Sub-County, where he was suspended due to disciplinary issues.
Police report that three accomplices, also in custody, are expected to serve as witnesses in the case, which has now been handed over to the DCI for further investigation
