Multi-Grammy award-winning rapper, singer, and entrepreneur Nicki Minaj left her fans wailing and deeply disappointed after she refused to perform her mega hit song 'Starships' while performing at E11EVEN in Miami, 

The mother of one has made it clear that that ship has long sailed and she is never letting it fly again.

During her performance in Miami Nicki's 2012 hit song came up and the “Super Bass” hitmaker cut short her performance abruptly signaling to her team for the backing track to stop.

Her move left fans outraged as shouted for her to let the song perform much to their dismay. No matter how much they pleaded, however, Papa Bear's mom completely refused to continue the performance.

Explaining why she was turning down the Barbz request the musician who also doubles as an actress explained that she really detests the song and finds no joy in performing the "stupid song"

"Hold on. Psych, psych, psych, psych. I don't perform that song no more, y'all," the rapper tells the crowd.

With their cries of frustration heard loud and clear, the 41-year-old Trinidadian-born rapper and singer based in the United States went on to add;

"I don't like it.... what y'all want me to do? It's a stupid song,"

Thankfully, it was only a brief moment of disappointment for her fans as the Queen of rap quickly launched into another party pleaser, her 2011 hit song "Super Bass."

Interestingly, this is not the first time time that Nicki Minaj has voiced her distaste for her song. Talking to Pollstar Live back in 2020 she revealed she actually hated it, and questioned why she even came up with that song in the first place.

Starships isn't the only song that Nicki hates. She also loathes "Your Love" and "Anaconda" as well so, the 2012 song is in good company.
